Our service agreement, guidelines, and policies for jet washing and pressure cleaning services

1. Welcome and Service Agreement
Welcome to Leicester Jet Washers. By requesting a quote, booking a service, or engaging our professional jet washing and pressure cleaning services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "Client") and Leicester Jet Washers ("we", "us", or "our"), located at 72 Darien Way, Braunstone, Leicester, LE3 3TT.
2. Quotations and Booking
- All quotes provided by us are free, no-obligation, and valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
- Quotes are based on the information provided by the Client and a visual assessment (in person or via photographs). If the actual site conditions differ significantly from what was described or photographed, we reserve the right to adjust the final price.
- A booking is considered confirmed once a date and time are mutually agreed upon in writing (via email, SMS, or WhatsApp).
3. Client Responsibilities
To ensure a safe and efficient cleaning process, the Client must comply with the following:
- Water Supply: The Client must provide access to a working outdoor tap or clean water source with adequate pressure. If no outdoor tap is available, the Client must inform us prior to the booking date so alternative arrangements can be discussed.
- Access: The Client must ensure clear access to all areas requiring cleaning. This includes unlocking gates, clearing pets, and moving vehicles, outdoor furniture, flowerpots, and other obstructions. We are not responsible for moving heavy items unless agreed upon beforehand.
- Electricity: Access to a standard electrical outlet may be required for certain tasks or equipment, which the Client agrees to provide.
- Safety: Children, pets, and bystanders must be kept clear of the work area while high-pressure cleaning equipment is in operation.
4. Payments and Fees
- Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service, unless a prior arrangement has been agreed in writing.
- We accept payments via bank transfer (BACS), debit/credit cards, and cash. Bank details will be provided on the invoice.
- For commercial projects or large residential jobs, a deposit of up to 25% may be required at the time of booking.
- Overdue payments may be subject to a late payment interest fee calculated in accordance with UK commercial regulations.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- We request at least 48 hours' notice if the Client needs to cancel or reschedule a booking.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of £50 to cover travel and scheduling losses.
- Weather conditions: High-pressure washing is highly dependent on weather conditions. In the event of severe weather (e.g., heavy rain, freezing temperatures, high winds), we reserve the right to reschedule the service at no extra cost to the Client.
6. Liability and Property Damage
- We are fully insured with Public Liability Insurance up to £2,000,000.
- While we take the utmost care, high-pressure cleaning can occasionally reveal pre-existing damage, loose pointing, weak tiles, or cracked concrete. We are not liable for damage arising from pre-existing structural issues.
- The Client is responsible for ensuring that all doors, windows, and vents are tightly shut and sealed to prevent water ingress during the washing process. We are not liable for water entering the property due to unsealed entries.
- We use professional-grade cleaning solutions. While we pre-treat and rinse surrounding vegetation, we are not liable for minor, temporary foliage discoloration.
7. Complaints and Satisfaction Guarantee
Your satisfaction is our primary goal. If you are not completely satisfied with our service:
- Please notify us within 48 hours of service completion, detailing the issue.
- We will investigate the complaint and, if necessary, return to re-clean the affected areas at no additional cost to you.
- Complaints received after 48 hours may be reviewed at our discretion.
